Liberal Democrats march to save services at Queen Mary's

Liberal Democrats including Simon Hughes MP, Brian Paddick and Cllr David McBride demonstrate against proposed cuts at Queen Mary's

Cllr David McBride joined politicians from different parties and local residents in a march through Sidcup to demonstrate against the proposed cuts to Queen Mary's Hospital.

The Liberal Democrat contingent to the march included David, London Mayoral candidate Brian Paddick, GLA candidate Cllr Tom Papworth, London Euro candidate Jonathan Fryer and Simon Hughes MP.

David commented, "Many people in the Crays and other parts of Bromley use Queen Mary's and it is an essential part of the local health service. Any cuts here will seriously affect local residents and I was delighted to see the high level of opposition to the proposals,a s demonstrated by the number of people on the march."
